Types of IELTS Test in Nigeria


IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a test done at an international level to check the proficiency in the English language. It is a test for non-native English speakers who want to work or study in a different country where English is a primary language and a medium between different to communicate. 



The basic eligibility for the candidate for the exam is that he or she must be at least sixteen years old, and the most important thing is the passport. The candidate must have a valid passport to appear in this exam. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is conducted in Nigeria, and IELTS centers in Ikeja are the most famous center. 

The difficulty level of IELTS test

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is not much difficult than any other exam as you will get a straightforward question. It is a standard test that is conducted at an international level to check the student capability and proficiency over the English language. The student could easily pass the exam by doing a thorough preparation. 

Different types of IELTS test 

There are two types of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test. The test is divided into two parts: IELTS Academic and the other one is IELTS General training

IELTS Academic test

The IELTS Academic test is for the people who are planning and applying for higher education. The student generally registers for the exam. It is a professional-level examination as it reflects some of the features of academic language. This exam is conducted to check that the student is ready to begin studying or training in English. Bypassing and getting a good score in this exam, a student can get a chance to study in the right school. 

IELTS General Training

This test is conducted for the candidate who is planning to visit the English-speaking country for work and higher studies. 

The student who is non-native English speaker should daily practice to read and to write in English to get confident while speaking the language and to pass the exam easily.
